Missing BAIT’s Cruel World campaign? That’s because most of their 2015 was spent releasing hit after hit in the sneaker collaboration department, and clearly 2016 isn’t a time of rest for the West Coast retailer because they’re ready to unveil their third collaboration of the year – and it’s not even the end of January. To quickly recap, the Cruel World campaign is an inspiring project done in conjunction with select sneaker brands in an effort to raise awareness and funds for certain charitable causes, and the official announcement today benefits Follow Your Dreams, a UK-based cause that helps children with disabilities pursue their goals and dreams.
Serving as the platform for Cruel World 6 is an eye-catching hybrid of the Saucony Shadow 5000 and 6000 – the Saucony Shadow 5500; the design theme is inspired by “Giant Leaps” and Neil Armstrong’s historic feat of walk on the moon. Space travel elements of deep space black, grey moon prints, and reflective 3M adorn this upcoming release, with BAIT branding found on the heel and the NASA-inspired tongue label. As usual, securing a pair requires signing up through BAIT’s raffle link, so head there to submit your ticket and look out for a release at all seven BAIT chapter stores and online on January 30th.
