Ever since it debuted in December 2015, the adidas NMD R1 has been the hottest sneaker on the market. With everybody wanting a pair, they seem to disappear instantly every time a new colorway is dropped. Among all the sought after iterations of the sleek and stylish Boost-cushioned lifestyle silhouette, none are more in demand than the “OG” colorway in black with red and blue midsole inserts. Unfortunately for most of us, the limited release is long gone, leaving all those that didn’t obtain a pair out in the cold—unless you want to pay exorbitant resale prices. However, you may be able to score a consolation prize soon, with the release of the NMD Chukka (AKA NMD_C1) in the same black, white, red, and blue color scheme as the coveted “OG” NMD.
