Nintendo and Vans are teaming up once again for an awesome capsule collection for Summer 2016. Inspired by vintage Mario and Donkey Kong graphics, each of the footwear selections come encased in a box that perfectly mimics the vintage NES console. All of the usual suspects are included in this collective ranging from a graphic-heavy Vans Authentic complete with explosive 64-bit Mario characters, the Vans Sk8-Hi with a classic canvas construction where the side panel branding is transformed to look like squares from original Mario platforms, and another Vans Sk8-Hi with an homage to the Nintendo Entertainment System’s original controllers.
