Baseball fans will have to get used to the name Kris Bryant at the annual mid-summer classic. The Chicago Cubs slugger made his presence known by promptly sending the first pitch he saw into the stands while wearing an eye-catching Ocean blue colorway of the adiZero Afterburner 3. For his following two at-bats he swapped colors and laced up the Power Red and Infrared colorways of the cleats before being taken out of the game; each time Bryant appeared in a new colorway, the adidas Baseball Twitter account dropped a quickstrike release. Of course, the adidas adiZero Afterburner 3 “Dipped” Collection will officially release on August 1st for $100 in fifteen different colors, so you haven’t missed out completely. Recap the earlier events below.
