The Nike KD 9 Gold Medal utilizes an ominous Obsidian upper to match Team USA’s road uniforms while Metallic Gold branding on the Swoosh and a ‘USA’ heel tab nods at the intentions of America’s dominant Olympic basketball program. Throw in University Red on the lining and a pristine icy outsole, and this could be the cleanest KD 9 pair to date. Team USA and Durant still have a lot of work to do in order to grab that Gold Medal during the elimination rounds ahead, but here’s to hoping that they pull things out.
