Womenswear Brand emmi Has Another ASICS Collaboration

Japanese womenswear brand emmi is back with a new collaboration with ASICS Tiger, this time on the legendary retro runner, the ASICS Gel Lyte III. emmi has hooked up with ASICS in the past for an elegant “Houndstooth” Gel Lyte V and here the lifestyle aesthetic continues with an attention to detail that will please nearly every sneakerhead out there – if only it came in a full family size run.

The emmi x ASICS Gel Lyte III features a unique striped upper in a subtle white and grey while premium black suede panels hit the ASICS side panel stripes and toe. A subtle pink nubuck lands on the heel for a standout look while heather grey adds a comfortable lifestyle finish to the iconic split tongue. Deep Maroon is the perfect way to finish up the pair on the outsole. So far, there’s no word on when or even if emmi’s premium ASICS creation will arrive at stateside retailers. International shops like Atmos are reporting a release later this September.
