Could the Air Jordan 1 Rare Air return to store shelves in the near future? Today we get a look at the latest Air Jordan 1 featuring premium tumbled leather and two familiar shades from some of your favorite AJ1 releases – the “Shadow” and “fragment design” options. The Air Jordan 1 Retro High Rare Air series saw a short-lived test-run in which the ‘Wings’ branding on the ankle collar was replaced by a simple ‘Air Jordan’ text callout. The look was straight from early 1985 samples of Michael Jordan’s famous first signature and helped celebrate three decades of the Air Jordan 1.

Today’s samples of the Air Jordan 1 Rare Air features a simple White/Wolf Grey-Black option with premium tumbled leather throughout. The tongue skips the swappable velcro tags seen on previous releases but still comes equipped with traditional Jumpman branding with ‘Rare Air’ text callouts underneath. There’s also an interesting “Game Royal” option that should grab the attention of anyone obsessed with Hiroshi Fujiwara’s limited fragment design x Air Jordan 1 collaboration.

Check out more detailed shots below and we’ll let you know once these 2 upcoming Air Jordan 1 Rare Air colorways are available in the near future. Head over to our always-updated Jordan release dates page for more.
