The Air Jordan 1 “Royal” is rumored to return sometime in 2017, and for those of you looking for some sort of sign that the OG colorway is in fact in the Jumpman’s future plans can take solace in knowing that Jordan Brand is experimenting with new Royal inspirations. The latest Air Jordan 1 Ultra High is a lifestyle-minded weather-ready model featuring additional neoprene slip-on ankle support, a bolstered canvas-like overlay on the toebox and heel panels, and a wool-based upper for further insulation.
The Air Jordan 1 Ultra High Royal flips the Swoosh branding for a simple Sport Royal outline while boot-like laces and eyelets add to the overall weatherized feel. Strangely enough, the Air Jordan 1 outsole is the only thing that remains unchanged on this sneakerboot-esque silhouette. What do you think of the look?
