The Nike SF-AF1 is releasing in a new “String” colorway on January 19th, 2017. The militarized version of Bruce Kilgore’s iconic 1982 basketball model was a surprise hit to end 2016 for NSW, as a number of military-like colorways disappeared from store shelves, each featuring ballistic nylon, weather resistant uppers and awesome paracord straps that sometimes doubled as straps to a coinciding duffle bag depending on the colorway. The Nike SF-AF1 String mixes things up though, as an updated lifestyle grade suede matches the updated boot-inspired lace eyelets while a gum outsole offsets the off-white midsole unit.
