Is The Next adidas FutureCraft Model Made of Recycled Electrical Wire?

Adidas Futurecraft Electrical Wire Boost

The adidas Futurecraft initiative is one of the most exciting technological advancements in the sneaker world today because it promotes the concept of ‘upcycling’, or in simpler terms, recycling waste to create not just wearable sneaker models, but must-have entities that push the footwear industry forward. So what’s next from the three stripes’ environmentally conscious creations? According to Sneaker Freaker, the next adidas Futurecraft offering could be completely comprised of recycled electrical wire.

Today we get a teaser image of the offering, as the shoe features a full-length Boost outsole unit while the concept dons a slip-on upper woven with thin strands of electrical wiring. It’s not quite the Parley Ultra Boost given the sparse upper, but it’s definitely an exciting advancement. Check out a full image below and stay tuned for more updates right here on Sneaker News.
