Updated March 28th, 2017: The adidas Yeezy Calabasas Powerphase is scheduled to release on March 28th, 2017 for $120 via Yeezy Supply.
More details of Kanye West’s next adidas Yeezy sneaker emerges. The shoes appear far more low-tech compared to the Yeezy Boost line, with some (okay, many) pointing out the similarities to another icon of the European sneaker scene – the Reebok Workout. Kanye’s Yeezy PowerPhase shoes has the same gym-shoe aesthetic with a simple all-white leather upper, retro-style branding, and CALABASAS printed adjacent to the rear-most stripe. The shoebox appears to the basic blue/white Originals box as well, so don’t expect any bells and whistles in the form of slide-out boxes and whatnot (after all, the shoe costs $120). Stay tuned for release info, because it appears that influencers/notables are receiving their pairs now.
