Converse has teamed up with one of their skateboarding team riders, Louis Lopez, to create his very own colorway of the Chuck Taylor All Star Pro High. Paying homage to his hometown of Hawthorne, California, Lopez creates a clean look for the skate-ready version of the iconic sneaker, featuring a white suede upper with black and red All-Star logo patches on the medial sides. While the outside of the shoe is quite simple, Lopez references his hometown on the interior with a map of Hawthorne on the back of the tongue and the city’s seal in gold foil on the sockliner.
The Louis Lopez x Converse CTAS Pro High released today at select Converse retailers and Converse.com for $80.
