Air Jordan 6 “Chinese New Year” Releasing January 2018

The Air Jordan 6 is forecasted to have a big second half of 2017, with a number of anticipated new colorways including the “Like Mike”, “UNC”, and “Wheat” editions. Now it looks like the Air Jordan 6’s moment will continue into early 2018, as Jordan Brand will celebrate Chinese New Year with a special edition of MJ’s sixth signature model. No image of the celebratory Air Jordan 6 has been revealed yet, but the colorway is listed as ‘Black/Multi-Color/Summit White/Metallic Gold’, which shows that it can be expected to have a colorful mix of hues with golden accents in the vein of many Chinese New Year sneakers we’ve seen in the past. The Air Jordan 6 “Chinese New Year” is scheduled for a January drop (currently rumored for January 27th) ahead of the actual New Year’s date on February 16th in 2018.
