Updated on August 17th, 2017: The Hender Scheme x adidas Originals Micropacer releases on September 2nd, 2017 for $950.
After being “inspired” by classic sneakers for years, Hender Scheme appears to be making things official, teaming up with adidas Originals for a series of releases. The Japanese luxury brand that has, for lack of a better word, copied various iconic sneaker designs in handmade deconstructed leather builds throughout the years—including most famously their Air Jordan 4—has been tapped by adidas to create their signature look on a collection of classic Three-Stripe models. Although we only get a preview of the Hender Scheme x adidas Originals Micropacer here, the initial collection will also include the NMD (with no Boost midsole) and the timeless Superstar.
The collection is scheduled to release September 2nd at a very select set of retailers worldwide, and rumored to retail from $900 to $1000 per pair. Stay tuned to Sneaker News for more details on this intriguing collection from Hender Scheme and adidas Originals.
