Next June, Jordan Brand will commemorate the 20th Anniversary of the famed “Last Shot” by re-releasing the Air Jordan 14. It’s not clear if there will be any special treatment on this Air Jordan XIV release like what we saw with the Championship Pack earlier this year or if it’ll be a tit-for-tat re-issue. The truth behind the Air Jordan 14 is that Michael Jordan wore them earlier than intended; he first broke them out for the second half of Game 5 of the Finals, and wore them all four quarters in Game 6. It would be interesting to see some sort of Jazz-inspired infusion to call out the “push off” as well, don’t you think? A mid-June 2018 release is being reported, which is roughly two decades from that moment.
