Germany’s The Good Will Out reaches far East for an unconventional inspiration for their adidas Consortium collaboration. TGWO’s City Sock release, dubbed the Ankoku Toshi Jitsu, reflects “the art of seeing through darkness” as it adopts the trendy triple-black suit on this modified version of the adidas NMD CS1; while the upper construction remains, TGWO adds a trail-ready outsole that allows for trekking through the elements.
The selection of all-black also aims to display a contrast to the brighter color combinations typically seen in shop-brand shoe collaborations, although the selection of triple black is certainly trendier than it is artful. Expect a release on September 16th at TGWO, with a limited release at Consortium accounts worldwide soon after.
