Nike introduced the “Force Is Female” campaign earlier this year, recognizing the women who are trailblazers, doers, and makers through the lens of formidable footwear and apparel. As the brand continues its longstanding focus on that demographic, some new exclusive footwear appears in the form of the the “Nocturne Collection”, featuring the Air Max 95, Air Force 1 Low, Classic Cortez, Blazer Low, and the SF-AF1. Anchored by a bold “Port Wine” colorway, Nike dresses up these five silhouettes with patent leather to blend in the luxurious look with these sports classics, while the phrase “Become Your Own Hero” on the insole aims to inspire women to take risks and shake up the status quo in their own unique way. The “Nocturne Collection” is scheduled to hit select Nike retailers on October 27th; expect more from Nike’s Force Is Female direction soon.
