Jordan Brand’s special celebration of MJ’s longstanding ties with Gatorade, the “Be Like Mike” Collection, may be due in early December, but possibly the most enticing piece of the collection will not drop until after Christmas. The Air Jordan 6 “Gatorade” made an appearance back in September that caused a flurry of speculation. That speculation can now be put to rest as the classic Jordan silhouette decked in lush green suede has an official release date. Aside from its entirely green suede upper, the shoe also includes hits of orange and the “If I Could Be…” moniker stitched on the interior tongue. Unlike the Jordan 6 “Be Like Mike”, the “Gatorade” colorway will be an extremely limited “quickstrike” release on December 30th.
