Virgil Abloh’s Original Color Selection For OFF WHITE x Air Jordan 1 Appears

A never-before-seen edition of the OFF WHITE x Air Jordan 1 has just surfaced online, but don’t be too shocked at the colorway. During the very first “OFF CAMPUS” talks in NYC, Virgil Abloh, the designer behind “The Ten”, noted that his original color choice for his Air Jordan 1 was actually white, fitting the anchoring theme seen across the entire collection. Upon seeing a white pair of Dunk Highs in an airport, he noted that the shoes blended in too much and it was difficult to discern the Air Jordan 1 from the Dunk High. Despite changing his decision, it appears that a white version of the OFF WHITE x Air Jordan 1 may be in the works, as product info for a second pair of Air Jordan 1s that fit the description is rumored to drop in 2018.
