European retail powerhouse Sneakersnstuff is expanding beyond its dominant European and online presence by opening up a brick-and-mortar space in New York City. The 3,500 square-foot shop comes equipped with a bar inside and is located in NYC’s meatpacking district downtown. SNS’ new location will have areas for art exhibits, as well the store’s broad range of exclusive collaborations and other intriguing new releases. One of the focal points of the space is a four-mirror design that is inspired by four iconic buildings in NYC – the Iron building, the Chrysler building, the Freedom Tower, and the New York Life Building. SNS NY was designed with the the energy and aesthetic of New York City in Mind which led to head architect, Jenny Askenfors, looking to pull in elements from all around the city.
The new SNS location is scheduled to open tomorrow, December 20th, at 22 Little West 12th street, with the bar and party area opening sometime in early 2018. Take a look at some of the other aspects of the shop below and be sure to stop by when you’re in NYC.
