First look At The Air Jordan 1 “Equality” For Black History Month

Pittsburgh Steelers defensive back Joe Haden has finally uncovered the mystery of the third black/gold Air Jordan 1 Retro. Set to release on January 15th, this Air Jordan 1 “Equality” celebrates Black History Month with the bold message of “Equality” printed on the heels of the shoes. These Jordans also sport a stylish color-blocking scheme that has a contrasting black on the toe-box, tongue, ankle, and lace collar while hits of gold add the final touches to this inspiring release. Interestingly enough, these feature Carmelo Anthony’s Jordan PE logo on the tongue. A quick note – these are not of the “OG” version as it does not feature Nike Air on the tongue and is priced at $145. See the full reveal below and stay tuned for the release on January 15th.

Nike is also releasing an Air Force 1 Low with the same “EQUALITY” detailing on the heel.
