adidas’ New Skateboarding Shoe Is Inspired By The Powerphase
adidas Skatebparding is ready to usher in its brand new City Cup silhouette to start its 2018 campaign off on the right foot. Infusing Three Stripes heritage with modern tooling the City Cup represents an entirely new design with heavy-duty skate utility. It will make its debut in a full-grain white leather makeup consisting of a semi-translucent ice blue outsole with a breathable mesh lining and a vulcanized rubber heel. A popular trend within the Trefoil Brand is borrowing looks from past iterations which can be seen here with the City Cup taking cues from the Montreal and Powerphase collections. Its name is derived from designer Scott Johnson’s technique of implementing a double cup midsole which offers support and stability while still remaining flexible and precise.
