adidas Originals Officially Unveils The Crazy BYW

adidas Originals Officially Unveils The Crazy BYW

In late December of last year, adidas athletes, Brandon Ingram and Nick Young debuted the brand new BYW LVL 1 silhouette on courts – marking the first step in the next evolution of Three Stripes basketball. Joining the ranks of the LVL 1, is the new Crazy BYW that utilizes the same innovative pod technology that enhances movement, bringing a new level of comfort to the basketball court.

For the first time, an adidas basketball silhouette will feature a three-part podular midsole that also comes equipped with the globally popular BOOST technology that increases any sneaker’s popularity immensely. In terms of its upper, it comes adorned in soft breathable knit with hints of leather and embroidered details to maintain its modern aesthetic while still keeping its functional. Its unconventional lacing system keeps its connection to its 90’s roots while other elements of the design propel it forward into the future.

Another subtle hint to the past comes by way of the old “Feet You Wear” face logo that can be seen hear as part of the midsole, adding another touch of nostalgia to this futuristic silhouette. The Crazy BYW will arrive at adidas.com and select retailers in limited quantities on January 27th and will then gear up for a wider release on February 15th.
