Earlier this week, we brought you a first look at menswear designer John Elliott‘s collaborative effort with Nike on the in-trend Air Monarch. Serving as one of the original “dad” shoes, a collaboration with a distinguished long-time Nike collaborator will give the silhouette some much-deserved love. Now, we’re here to bring you another first look at Elliott’s work on a sneaker he is much more familiar with – the Vandal High. Having done work on this silhouette in the past, Elliott was ready to push the boundaries this time around, as he opted to add corduroy to the sneaker’s midfoot Swoosh surrounded by nubuck on both the black and white selection. Zig-zag striping adorns the ankle strap of both selections in a corresponding color scheme, and a customary Vandal midsole unit can be seen in white. Grab a look at the images below, and stay tuned for updates regarding release information as they are revealed.
