Last week, adidas VP Marc Dolce revealed a 4D printed adidas basketball sneaker that utilizes the brand’s popular Futurecraft technology. Now, Dolce is providing the world with an up-close view of some iconic adidas sneakers given that same treatment that were on display at the 747 Warehouse St. event during All-Star Weekend. Included in this distinguished display, was the adidas Kobe 1, the KB8 II, the EQT Streetball, the Top Ten, the Pro Model, and an adidas Basketball sneaker from 1955. Dressed in the same Ash Green color as the “Future of Basketball” mock-up, it’s not clear if these models are releasing, but it’s clear that adidas plans on expanding Futurecraft in this manner across all sports categories. Grab a look at all the sneakers that were part of the Futurecraft 4D Icons display and tell us what sneaker would look best with a 4D printed sole.
