Sneaker News Mamba Day is about a month away, but it looks like the league’s resident representative of Kobe footwear got a head start to the celebration. Toronto’s DeMar Derozan, who has been steadily wearing Nike Kobes for years and actually debuted the Nike Zoom Kobe 1 Protro model on court, was spotted in a black/gold colorway that features Mamba Day tributes on the shoe. The heel reads the date of Mamba Day (April 13th), while the 2018 suggests a release coming on the day of Kobe’s final NBA game.
