Sneaker News Update: The ACRONYM Nike Vapormax Moc 2 is releasing in the Sail/Volt/Black colorway on March 24th at select retailers. The remaining colorways will be revealed soon.
The Vapormax silhouette is getting the spotlight for the second consecutive Air Max Day as this collaboration with German tactical outwear brand ACRONYM lays its sublime touch on the Nike Vapormax Moc 2. This laceless iteration of the stripped down Vapormax comes sans laces, but there’s plenty of detailing that gives this collaboration the punch that only Errolson Hugh can. The die-cut heel-counter blends well with the haphazard pattern on the upper, while the clouded Vapormax bubbles at the mid-foot and heel contrasts with the toe-strike portion at the toe. Finally, the brand’s logo appears in several different styles on the lateral portion of the heel, the heel stripe, and the co-branded insole. A release date for this high-energy design has yet to be revealed, but stay tuned for Nike and ACRONYM to make an official announcement soon.
