Should Nike Create A #LeBronWatch Inspired By Sean Wotherspoon’s Air Max?

Nike’s #LeBronWatch series, featuring limited LeBron 15 colorways inspired by some of the King’s favorite classic Nike shoes, and Sean Wotherspoon’s hybrid corduroy Air Max 97/1s are some of Nike’s hottest shoes currently, so you’ve got to wonder: what if they were brought together? In a photoshop shared by BR Kicks, Wotherspoon’s retro-inspired color palate is brought to LeBron’s high-end performance basketball shoes … and the result is nothing if not interesting and unique. The combination of a retro look on a new age performance sneaker provides an interesting contrast, and the merging of Wotherspoon and King James’s aesthetics would make for a truly unique take on a #LeBronWatch sneaker. LeBron has already been spotted wearing the AM 97/1s on more than one occasion, so it would certainly be unique if his footwear preferences were taken and made into a PE release. Can you imagine the fervor if LeBron stepped onto the court for a playoff game in a Wotherspoon-inspired colorway? It’s highly unlikely … but it’s not out of the realm of possibility, and you can always expect the unexpected from the Swoosh. Let us know your thoughts on a possible Wotherspoon/LeBron james silhouette, and for more King James kicks, check out his recently-unveiled military camo Soldier 12s.
