The late 90s-early 2000s was a fruitful period of time for Jordan’s team basketball line. With cult-favorite releases like the Pro Quick and Jumpman Team, they were able to blend their classic heritage aesthetic with new-age technology and materials, bringing their storied DNA into the new millenium. One shoe in the team line that did that impeccably was 1999’s Jumpman Quick 6, and now it’s set to return to market 19 years after its original release. Featuring a tumbled white leather upper with a tonal layered midfoot hit, the shoe’s contrast arrives via a swath of navy blue that covers the tongue, throat, and part of the midfoot/toebox. Maize detailing adorns the throat’s Jumpman logo and the classic Air Jordan 14-style badge on the heel, while the shoe’s look is completed with a retro-styled white and blue midsole/outsole. No release date or pricing information is available for the return of this classic sneaker, but look for them to arrive soon as part of Jordan Brand’s summer/fall lineup.
