Nike’s Air Max 95 has been the beneficiary of many an interesting new iteration over the past few weeks. From an “Ultramarine” colorway rented from the Nike Air 180, to a “Silver Bullet” originally made popular by the Air Max 97, designer Sergio Lozano’s masterpiece has certainly served as quite the canvas this summer, and now it’s receiving both a stately satin upper and a brand-new NSW logo. The shoe’s anatomy-inspired side panels come dressed in a rich gold satin, reminiscent of classic souvenir jackets, while a shaggy nubuck arrives on the tongue and throat. A vintage-style mustard yellow arrives on the toe, heel, and bottom midfoot panel for further retro contrast, and a cursive Nike Sportswear logo arrives embroidered on the rear lateral side of the shoe. The old-school aesthetic is completed with a white midsole, black Air Max cushioning unit, and black outsole.
