Nike Air More Uptempo “Hoyas” Releases On August 30th

Last year, the head-turning Air More Uptempo silhouette kickstarted a resurgence of nostalgic Nike basketball silhouettes from the 90s that has also included the Air More Money, most notably. Now, the loud Uptempo sneaker is back once again with a color scheme that serves as a nod to the Georgetown Hoyas. The Hoyas were inarguably one of the top college basketball programs in the 80s and 90s, with personalities the likes of Patrick Ewing and head coach John Thompson corralling the spotlight. Dressed in Cool Grey and Midnight Navy, this bold basketball offering will give fans of other former Big East teams nightmares that remind them of having to go up against one of the nation’s toughest teams. Pairs of this Hoya-friendly Uptempo are currently scheduled to arrive at Nike Basketball retailers on August 30th.
