The Weeknd’s XO collection has become one of the brand’s most popular lines, putting a signature lifestyle touch on military-inspired footwear. In honor of 50 years of the influential Puma Suede, The Weeknd is bringing that militaristic aesthetic to the brand’s most important sneaker. Serving as a remix of the icon, the Suede 50 Puma x XO will be available in three colors, black and gum, black and white, and a glacier grey. To further switch things up from the norm, Abel Tesfaye, has swapped out this offering’s conventional lacing system with a buckle strap around the boot’s toe and ankle. “19” and “68” sit at the center of each iterations tongues, another nod to the Suede’s birth year, 1968.
