The 3-time champion signed a max contract deal with the Los Angeles Lakers, and Nike is ready to join him on this potential final leg with a brand new signature shoe called the Nike LeBron 16. As the Swoosh typically does, the LeBron 16 will launch with some special edition colorways, but according to retailer Finish Line, the Nike LeBron 16 will indeed release on September 20th in a simple and standard Black/University Red mix – the same version seen on the feet of LeBron James at a recent workout in LA.
While the brand has remained mum regarding the LeBron 16 thus far, LeBron will be in NYC in the coming weeks for his Harlem Fashion Row event during NYFW. Stay tuned for updates.
