Upcoming adidas Ultra Boost Mid Resembles KITH’s “Aspen” Style

Upcoming adidas Ultra Boost Mid Resembles KITH’s “Aspen” Style

In December of 2016, KITH helped introduce the world to the new Ultra BOOST Mid silhouette by way of a colorful collaboration with an Aspen monicker. Serving as one of the best collaborations to ever come out of Ronnie Fieg’s shop, the Aspen still remains as one of the best BOOST sneakers ever created. Now, adidas is set to release an in-line Ultra BOOST Mid that heavily draws from the aesthetic of that esteemed iteration. Boasting a very similar upper to Fieg’s KITH design – one that drew inspiration from Aspen’s ski culture – this new version opts to use cool greens and blues as its base for multi-color as opposed to the warm red of its predecessor. A sock-like ankle collar allows for incredibly easy slip-on access, while a full length BOOST midsole provides consumers with the optimal comfort one has come to expect from a BOOST-equipped model. Its midfoot ushers in a familiar transparent-like overlay that sits atop a dark-colored set of Three Stripes that replace the protective cage customarily found on the regular UB.

A striking blue tongue and heel tab complete this selection that should serve as a strong consolation prize for those who were never able to secure a pair of the Aspens. Grab an official look at this new Ultra BOOST Mid below and look forward to its arrival at the retailers listed below October 25th.
