Since its original release for Air Max Day 2017, Nike’s Vapormax technology has already lived many lives. It’s used for some of the most popular running silhouettes on the market like the Vapormax 2. It’s taken steps into lifestyle with releases like the ACRONYM Vapormax Moc 2 and the Vapormax Utility. It’s also been fused with classic uppers to create modern-day homage kicks like the Vapormax 95 and Vapormax Plus. It’s safe to say that over its 18-month existence, the lightest and most flexible Air Max unit yet has become firmly ingrained in both casual and performance sneaker culture — and now it’s set to be utilized on yet another brand new silhouette: the Vapormax Run Utility, which drops in a clean white and silver colorway this September.

Designed to meet — and exceed — the demands of urban wear, be it running or a busy commute, the Vapormax Run Utility features a one-piece upper with taped seams, ensuring maximum water repellency. Exposed silver-flecked Flywire and a toggle lacing system ensure easy on/off and a snug, secure fit. A bone-colored sockliner provides contrast, and the lateral heel is stamped with a badge that boasts the shoe’s technical specs and features. Silver speckling appears on the white Cushlon midsole, and a crystal-clear Vapormax unit completes the city-ready style and provides the exemplary cushioning that the Vapormax unit is loved the world over for. Savor a set of official images below, and look for these ladies-only metropolitan runners to arrive at Swoosh Brand stockists like Finish Line September 27th.
