Don C x Converse ERX Revealed

feature image

Chicago native and Just Don head honcho Don C is no stranger to collaboration, having worked with Jordan Brand since 2015. Now, he’s teamed up with Converse for a premium take on their retro ERX sneaker that originally debuted in 1988 — and was worn by none other than Magic Johnson. The shoes are unmistakably ’80s, featuring an extra-high collar and bulky construction, and Don’s special luxury touch arrives via multiple textured panels on the upper that utilize everything from pony hair to snakeskin. Leopard print adorns the midfoot’s classic chevron logo, and in an interesting touch of branding, the colorful “Cons” logo’s C is flipped backwards — spelling out “Dons.” These special collaborative Converse are scheduled to release in November, so be sure to keep it locked here for further updates as they’re available.
