Sneaker News Jordan Brand continues its devotion to Paris with the official announcement of their first ever football club partnership with Paris Saint-Germain. The star-studded squad, which includes Neymar and Mbappe, will officially wear the Jumpman beginning this season, and the two ambitious brands will celebrate by releasing a complete collection of footwear and apparel to commemorate the occasion. On the sneaker end, you’ll find an Air Jordan 1 and Air Jordan 5 dressed in black and red with PSG crest detailing on the shoe. On the clothing end, a full range of gear from hoodies to customized jerseys will become available.
The entire Jordan x PSG collection is set to release on Friday, September 14th. Paris Saint-Germain will officially debut their new club kits on September 18th during their match against Liverpool.
Update: Nikestore EU did a surprise release of the PSG Air Jordan 5 shortly after the announcement on Sept 13. Nikestore EU will most likely only be selling the apparel. JD Sports UK will be selling the apparel along with the Air Jordan 5 at 8am GMT (12am PT/3am ET) and they ship globally. SNS which held a raffle has a count down to a 9am CEST (12am PT/3am ET) release time. SNS ships globally so make sure to check at the release time. BSTN currently has a release time of 00:01 September 15 which will be 6pm ET for the AJ5, the apparel does not yet have a release time but will most likely be 9am CEST. Nikestore SNKRS will be selling the AJ5 at 10am ET but will not be carrying the apparel. Best bet for US residents looking to buy the apparel or even the AJ5 is to hit up JD Sports at 12am PT/3am ET.
