The “Concord” color scheme holds a lofty place in the annals of Jordan Brand’s history, right next to other classics like “Bred” and “Black Cement.” First introduced on the Air Jordan 11 in 1995, the striking combo of white mesh and black patent leather is instantly recognizable and still holds up today, more than twenty years after it debuted. Now, it’s returned on a homage-styled Air Jordan 1 Double Strap — a shoe that’s sure to make any OG Concord lover proud. White tumbled leather serves as the upper’s base material, while AJ11-style nylon appears on the tongue, the two large straps, and around the toebox. A thin strip of black patent leather wraps around the bottom of the upper, and the outsole is done up in an icy translucent blue.
