Borrowing the color blocking from the revered Jordan 1 “Chicago”, this selection opts for a black and white base, while ushering in a striped pattern on its Swoosh meant to mimic the piping down the side of the ’84 Bucks’ uniforms. Other standout embellishments include “A Star Is Born” boldly printed on the inside of its detached ankle collar straps alongside the date that particular SI issue hit news stands, and flashes of red surrounding each of its branded elements.
