Ross Dwyer China’s annual Singles Day is right around the corner, and Nike/Jordan has been pulling out all the stops with a flood of special releases — because what better way is there to celebrate being single than treating yourself with some new material goods? The latest Singles Day-centric shoes to surface are a two-pack of special studded Air Force 1 Lows that are set to drop on the holiday: white/white and black/white. Each shoe boasts a standard leather AF1 construction, but offers special detailing via bold studded stars on the mudguard and heel counter: silver on the white pair, and gold on the black pair. Further flair arrives via shimmering metallic deubres and tongue patches, and each shoe is then completed with a classic white Air Force 1 midsole and outsole. This two-pack of starry kicks is set to release on Singles Day — November 11th — in China alongside other special kicks like the Air Jordan 4 “Singles Day” and “Tattoo” plus the Air Jordan 33 “Guo Ailun.” A global release will possibly follow on November 23rd.
