A Closer Look At The Air Jordan 1 “Chicago” With Clear Soles

A Closer Look At The Air Jordan 1 “Chicago” With Clear Soles

In the pantheon of Air Jordan 1 Retro High OG colorways, the “Chicago” variety may very well sit at the top for the purest of Jumpman fanatics. Alongside the “Banned” version, it is most commonly associated with the genesis of sneaker popularity, catapulting the industry into the mainstream spotlight. Now one of the sneakers that helped start it all, is returning with a brand new look that boasts translucent icy blue soles in stead of a customary red unit. On top of that, its red panelling ushers in a unique textured leather with light-colored abstract dots, while its tongue tag opts for a contrasting royal blue hit. Black makes its presence known on its laces, Swoosh, and ankle collar in familiar Jordan 1 Chicago fashion for a touch of normalcy. No word regarding this unique interpretation’s release currently exists, but grab a closer look below and keep it locked for updates.

Update: This alternate take on the Air Jordan 1 “Chicago” is tentatively scheduled to release on December 14th.
