atmos Displays Upcoming Nike Air Max 2 Light 1994 Collection

With ComplexCon in full swing, a great number of the sneaker industry’s most esteemed power players have converged on California to show off their newest goods and upcoming projects. Tokyo-based atmos is one of those aforementioned cultural heads, and their creative director Hirofumi Kojima recently took to his Instagram to show off a brand-new Air Max Light 2 — the latest piece in atmos’s long-running line of legendary Air Max collaborations. The classic runners serve up a wild mix of bright colors, patterns, and logos for an abstract retro look, all of which are covered by translucent plastic overlays that add an interesting layered effect. A bold red Swoosh and red heel Air Max unit provide even more color, and the shoe is then completed with a simple white midsole and two-tone outsole. The colorful Light 2s are currently for display only — as they’re set to release in 2019 — but they are accompanied by a whimsical apparel collection, which will indeed be for sale at ComplexCon this weekend. Get a first look at these new Nike shoes below, and stay tuned for further release updates as they’re available.
