The adidas Ultra Boost Mid Adds Lenticular Heels On This Wintry Colorway

The adidas Ultra Boost Mid Adds Lenticular Heels On This Wintry Colorway

First introduced and popularized by renowned streetwear brand KITH in 2016 by way of their “Aspen” collaboration, the adidas Ultra Boost Mid is arguably one of the most aesthetically pleasing sneakers in recent memory for the Trefoil Brand. Masterfully toeing the line between functionality and lifestyle wearability, the UB Mid equips a reinforced upper, a durable Continental outsole, and a sock like ankle collar for increased comfort. For extra flare this winter season, the German Sportswear Brand is adding a refreshing lenticular hit on its heel cup, giving off a pleasing iridescent effect including shades of purples, blues, and greens, somewhat resemblant of the majestic Northern Lights. Finishing touches include a gradient flecked patterns that starts highly populated with dark grey at its ankle and gradually loosens up as it approaches the rest of its upper as well as colorful laces that match its aforementioned heel. While no official release date currently exists, you can enjoy an official set of images below and expect pairs to begin arriving at retailers in the coming weeks.
