From a partnership with Aleali May, to the five alternate takes in the “1 Reimagined” collection to this summer’s “Satin” Shattered Backboards, the AJ1 has remained staunchly at the forefront of the Jumpman’s ladies lifestyle offerings. Now, it’s set to serve as a collaborative canvas yet again, this time in conjunction with stylist and influencer Rox Brown. Most well-known for putting Young Thug in a dress on the cover of his “Jeffrey” album, Brown is highly regarded for her unique, fluid, and androgynous view of personal style, and she’s imparted her aesthetic flawlessly onto her Air Jordan 1. The shoe’s all-black upper features a mix of silky satin underlays/standout reflective overlays, while a large embroidered rose graces the heel and a small printed rose adorns the tongue tag for unique pops of color. The shoe is then rounded off by a black midsole and icy blue translucent outsole.
