With the New Year right around the corner, more and more images of Jordan Brand’s 2019 offerings are beginning to surface. From colorful new Air Jordan 1s to classic Air Jordan 4s, the Jumpman seems to have something for everyone prepared. The latest sneaker to be revealed? A “Chinese New Year” Air Jordan 12. Featuring a color scheme that’s nearly identical to 2016’s “Wings” AJ12, this CNY pair sets itself apart from its counterpart with a silky black satin upper and a colorful sockliner featuring what appears to be a commemorative printed pattern — potentially the same style that was used on the “Chinese New Year” Air Max 98s. A pebbled white leather mudguard and gold midfoot Jumpman badge then round off the shoe’s tribunal aesthetic.
