Dover Street Market To Release An NYC Inspired Nike Air Force 1

Dover Street Market To Release An NYC Inspired Nike Air Force 1

The Nike Air Force 1 and luxury retailer Dover Street Market both boast deep NYC roots — the former a shoe intertwined with the cultural DNA of NYC and affectionately referred to as the “Uptown,” the latter one of the city’s premier shopping locations, boasting an extensive selection of the hottest brands on the market. The two are certainly not strangers, as DSM has worked on several special AF1s in years past, and now they’re linking back up again for a new Air Force 1 Low that nods to both the store and the city. Using a white tumbled leather base with black trim for accents, the shoe’s main design quirks come via its special branding: the right shoe features a recognizable “NYC” block letter hit with an overlapping red Swoosh on the tongue, heel tab, and lateral heel, while the left shoe uses a similar embellishment — but swaps out “NYC” for “DSM” in all three spots. An AF1 Retro just like the re-released Taiwans and Cocoas from earlier this year, these DSM Forces are sure to be a favorite of both New Yorkers and Force heads upon their December 20th release.
