Nike Adds Double-Layered Mudguards To The Air Max 1

With the advent of UNDERCOVER and sacai collaborations around the bend, Beaverton’s many mainline releases have begun taking a likeness more akin to the wild works of their Japanese collaborators. Once again transforming the iconic runner, the Air Max 1, Nike has given the model a tooling subtle in its execution yet loud in its tonality. The mudguards placed onto the three forthcoming iterations don saturated hues that pop against a backdrop of neutral dyes. Though, with extreme subtlety, another underlying layer pokes through in compliment, doubling up the overlay for something substantial in both appearance and ingenuity. Seeing its way in a Red/White, Grey/Blue, and Tan/Pink, the entire set is expected to make its debut very soon at Nike.com as well as select retailers.
