Ross Dwyer Coming close to the 10-year anniversary of their partnership, the Swoosh Brand and Jun Takahashi of UNDERCOVER have returned with their latest co-created Gyakusou collection, designed to handle both a grueling run and the pressing performance/sartorial needs of the urban commuter. The long-running — literally and figuratively — partnership is always resplendent with Nike’s latest technologies, and this season’s is no different, opting for two takes on the Zoom Pegasus 35 Turbo as well as a single Vaporfly 4% Flyknit. The former opts for two variations of an eye-catching yellow/green/burgundy palette with bold toebox branding and a new-age toggle lacing system, while the latter calls upon a rich burgundy knit upper with special printed details. Per usual, the shoes are accompanied by unique apparel — in this case, two lightweight jackets — and Takahashi’s altered takes/thoughtful embellishments come with an increased price tag of $200 for the Pegasus and $300 for the Vaporfly. The entire collection will release February 28th, so check a store list below to see what retailers will have stock of each pair.
