Official Images Of The Supreme x Nike Air Max Tailwind IV

article image

With Supreme‘s SS19 season now in full swing, official images of their highly anticipated Nike Air Max Tailwind IV in two colorways have surfaced. Using a signature red/white palette as well as a toned-down black and blue with small hits of orange, the New York streetwear titans call upon a flecked, textured mesh for the base of their running-centric collab while a crisp leather is utilized upon for the overlays. Translucent Air Max units then provide retro style and cushioning, while the signature “eyeliner” detail is kept tonal with the midsole. Continuing a theme started on their recent collaborations like the Zoom Streak Spectrum and SB Gato, branding is kept to a bare minimum on both shoes — only appearing on the throat and heel. The Air Max Tailwind 4 is one of several 1990s models that are getting some attention on the re-issue route, so expect a slew of original colorways to drop alongside this catchy collaboration. Check out both colorways of these new Supreme Nikes below, and look for the dynamic duo to release during one of the brand’s fabled Thursday morning drops later this season.
