Coinciding with the patchwork sacai LDV Waffle set to release next week, the Japanese label is geared for its own retro-leaning low-top: a Daybreak with a heel counter of monstrous expression. Forefoots arrive in close resemblance to the original, standing in a mix of suede overlays and underlying panels of a sheer nylon. Midsoles come speckled in black on this more monochrome pair — with the second yellow and grey palette sharing that same motif — while a typical “UNDERCOVER” typography hit signs off in clean Helvetica.
